Other Projects

Bord Gáis Energy Theatre – Dublin, Ireland

A landmark performing arts venue situated in Dublin’s Docklands and Ireland’s largest fixed-seat theatre. Standard Control Systems delivered a comprehensive Building Energy Management System (BEMS) covering all mechanical and environmental systems to support comfort, safety, and energy efficiency within complex auditorium conditions.

3Arena – Dublin, Ireland

A large-capacity entertainment venue requiring advanced mechanical controls for reliable operation under variable occupancy and performance conditions. Standard Control Systems was responsible for installing a Building Energy Management System (BEMS) to manage water services, ventilation, and comfort systems, ensuring stable performance and safety across all zones.

The Aviva Stadium – Dublin, Ireland

The Aviva Stadium is Ireland’s national sports and events venue, accommodating over 50,000 spectators. The facility required a robust Building Energy Management System (BEMS) to manage a wide range of HVAC and utility systems serving concourse areas, hospitality suites, and plant rooms. Standard Control Systems was responsible for the full integration, commissioning, and optimisation to ensure reliable environmental control during both peak event operation and standby periods.

Multi-Phase Data Centre – Sweden

Seven 40 MW multi-phase data centres in Sweden constructed to support hyperscale operations across four colocations. The facilities include 320 AHUs serving critical data halls, along with NPW and administration buildings. Standard Control Systems delivered a complete Building Energy Management System (BEMS) designed to ensure precise environmental control, energy efficiency, and resilience across multiple operational zones.

Multi-Phase Data Centre – Spain

A 12-phase data centre designed to accommodate large-scale cloud operations. Standard Control Systems provided OEM controls for 100 AHUs and extract systems, ensuring precise airflow management and energy efficiency across multiple build stages. The system was engineered for compatibility with both local and central supervisory platforms.

Multi-Site Data Centre – Dublin, Ireland

A 90 MW data centre campus comprising three buildings and multiple critical environments. Standard Control Systems implemented a site-wide Building Energy Management System (BEMS) covering AHUs, CRAHs, and essential HVAC systems. The controls infrastructure provides comprehensive monitoring of temperature, humidity, and pressure in hot/cold aisles and equipment rooms to maintain uptime and performance.

MSD (formerly Shire), Dunboyne – Ireland

A pharmaceutical manufacturing and research facility requiring comprehensive control of environmental and process systems. Standard Control Systems was engaged to design, install, and commission a validated Building Energy Management System (BEMS) managing chilled and glycol water systems, stormwater kiosks, and critical ventilation infrastructure in line with GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines.

4-5 Grand Canal Square – Dublin, Ireland

A seven-storey commercial office development located in the heart of Dublin City. Standard Control Systems was appointed to deliver the complete Building Energy Management System (BEMS), integrating all primary HVAC, water, and façade systems. The BEMS provides centralised control and monitoring of plant operations, ensuring consistent comfort and efficiency across all occupied floors.

Central Bank of Ireland – Dublin, Ireland

A high-performance commercial building with extensive sustainability and façade control features. Standard Control Systems implemented the Building Energy Management System (BEMS) to manage all HVAC, water, and energy systems, ensuring seamless coordination between mechanical and façade components for optimal building performance.
